The wait is over. After the delivery of the kits and the briefing held at Porto Motos, which organizes the event, on Friday (17), the moment of truth arrived.

This Saturday (18), the timed races of BITES Sportbay 2026 – Desafio do Cerrado, Cuiabá stage, officially begin, which promises to bring together some of the best riders in the country and invites the public to follow, up close and free, one of the biggest Big Trail motorcycling shows in Brazil.

The moment of truth has come

After months of preparation, the bikes finally hit the track. The CT Marcelo Careca, on the road that leads to Santo Antônio de Leverger, hosts the 7th and 8th stages of the main Brazilian Big Trail championship, now with International Edition status, consolidating Cuiabá as the stage for one of the most important races of the season.

Far beyond speed

Anyone who thinks Big Trail is just speeding up is mistaken.

Motorcycles that normally cross highways on long journeys undergo small adaptations to face natural obstacles, stretches of land, rocks, erosion, curves and climbs that require technique, balance and a lot of precision.

Each curve requires a decision. Each obstacle separates those who just accelerate from those who really know how to drive.

A championship that made history

This edition marks a historic moment for Brazilian sport.

For the first time, an international driver officially competes in a BITES stage. Spaniard Kirian Mirabet, one of the biggest names in the world's Big Trail, faces the heat of the Cerrado of Mato Grosso and helps put the Brazilian competition on the international radar.

A program for the whole family

In addition to the competition, the public will find a structure prepared to receive visitors throughout the weekend.

The organization provided a food court, parking, observation areas for the special stages and spaces that allow you to follow the disputes up close.

Access to the event is completely free.

The challenge is launched

For two days, Cuiabá stops being just the gateway to the Pantanal and becomes the Brazilian capital of the Big Trail.

The Big Trail world is now here.

A meeting between adventure, technique and passion for motorcycling, where machines created to explore the world show that they were also born to compete.

The Cerrado Challenge has begun. And the show is only accelerating.

About BITES: The Big Trail Enduro Series (BITES) is the main Brazilian championship aimed exclusively at motorcycles in the Big Trail category, combining high performance, navigation and overcoming challenging off-road terrain.
