The seats became vacant with the retirements of judges Maria Erotides Kneip and Dirceu dos Santos.
The vacancy filled by Agamemnon was chosen based on merit. Twenty-five judges signed up to compete for the promotion.
Antônio Horácio's was fulfilled based on the seniority criterion.
The vote
When voting for the vacancy based on merit, the Court's judges gave scores from 0 to 100, taking into account information on productivity, promptness in carrying out duties, technical improvement and the adequacy of conduct to the Code of Ethics for the Judiciary.
In this way, a triple list was formed headed by judge Agamenon Alcântara Moreno Júnior (31 votes), Tulio Duailibi Alves Souza (23 votes) and Adriana Sant Anna Coningham (19 votes).
The vacancy based on seniority was announced by the president of the TJ-MT, judge José Zuquim Nogueira. Antônio Horário worked at the Cuiabá Criminal Execution Court.
The inauguration of the magistrates takes place this Friday (13), at 2 pm.
Other vacancies
On Monday (20), the TJ-MT published a notice to fill a vacancy for judge reserved exclusively for career judges, based on merit criteria.
The vacancy was opened after the retirement of judge Juvenal Pereira. Registration remains open until Friday (24).
In addition to these, a new vacancy will be opened later this month with the retirement of judge Sérgio Ricardo de Arruda Valério, who turns 75 on July 27th.
