Accused of killing woman in bar is arrested after presenting himself at the police station in Mato Grosso

According to the Military Police report, the team was called by a witness, owner of the establishment, who reported a homicide at the location. When the police arrived, they found Daiany with no vital signs. According to witness reports, the victim and suspect started an argument inside the bar. At one point, the man pulled out a knife. The owner of the establishment tried to prevent the attack, positioning himself in front of the woman and asking the suspect to stop the attack.

According to the report, the man threw a knife at the merchant, superficially hitting his right arm. After being injured, he walked away to preserve his own physical integrity. Afterwards, Daiany ran to one of the rooms of the residence on the property, but was chased by the suspect. Once inside the room, she was hit several times with a knife, most of them in the back, and was unable to resist the injuries.

After the crime, the suspect left the scene. The Military Police carried out searches, but were initially unable to locate him. With the presentation of the person under investigation at the police station, the case becomes the responsibility of the Civil Police, which investigates the circumstances and motivation for the homicide.
