Abilio's secretary leaves his portfolio and will take care of his wife's campaign

According to him, the wife of the now former secretary, councilor Michelly Alencar (União), is a pre-candidate for the Legislative Assembly and Jefferson should take over coordinating her campaign.

“He asked to leave, we spoke yesterday and he explained to me that he was having difficulty finding a coordinator for his wife's campaign and that he would dedicate himself to her campaign,” said Abilio.

In Jefferson's place, the Deputy Secretary of Education, Mateus Silva Alves, will take over. Currently, he is responsible for the Education works sector. The changes must be published in the Municipal Gazette this Tuesday.

“Matthew Alves, assistant who has been in charge of the Education works, will remain interim and we will also finish the sports works”, stated the mayor.

Jefferson had been in office since the beginning of the Abilio administration, in January 2025. Behind the scenes, the information is that the Physical Education teacher's stay became unsustainable after the departure of his wife Michelly Alencar from the mayor's base in the Chamber.

Michelly has adopted an independent stance and refused to support the re-election of president Paula Calil (PL), Abilio's name in the dispute. Instead, Michelly preferred to walk with councilor Ilde Taques (Podemos), which ruined the relationship with Palácio Alencastro.
