"There are photos of me on the internet that I never took, videos of me saying things I never said, a body circulating around with a face on top that is not mine," he said. According to the actress, the popularization of artificial intelligence tools has made this type of fraud simpler and more accessible, increasing the spread of false content on social networks and messaging platforms.

At the end of June, Paolla had already warned her followers about videos and photos circulating on the internet with her image, but they were created with artificial intelligence. She reinforced that, according to a survey by NetLab, a UFRJ laboratory specializing in internet studies, 198 fraudulent advertisements using the actress's image were identified in just over three months.

According to the research, most of these publications directed users to private groups on messaging applications, where pornographic deepfakes involving the actress were sold.

The report also showed that the problem is not restricted to public figures. Anonymous women and teenagers have been victims of the same practice, with montages of sexual content produced and shared without consent. "There is a very huge movement that we don't even approach. We have to be afraid, yes. But who am I in the face of all this technology? This unfair race will not stop, but we cannot be swallowed", concluded Paolla.
