Felipe was diagnosed with sinusitis and inflammation of the vocal cords. "The singer is facing acute bilateral sinusitis and corditis, as well as laryngopharyngeal reflux," said the statement.
The musician has already started treatment, which involves rest. "Adequate treatment has already been started to avoid any type of injury to the vocal folds and rest will be necessary for full recovery", reinforced the text.
Amorim also hopes to return to the stage soon. "He deeply regrets not being able to be present in these cities and is grateful for the affection, understanding and support of all fans, contractors and partners", concluded the note.
On social media, Felipe opened up about his medical condition. The singer made it clear that he wants to focus on his recovery. "Spending a week here, just taking care of myself. After 15 days of illness, it's time to give my full attention," he wrote.
