According to the report, the average domestic ticket fare fell 3.3% in 2025 compared to the previous year, in real terms. The Average Domestic Yield, an indicator that measures the amount charged per kilometer flown, also fell 4.9% in the period.
Among companies operating domestic flights in Brazil, Latam had the largest market share in 2025, with 39 million passengers transported, equivalent to 38.6% of the total. Next comes Gol, which reversed the decline observed in 2024 and accounted for 31.4% of the market, with 31.8 million passengers.
In third place was Azul, with 30.2 million passengers and a 30.2% share of the domestic market. Despite the 3.2% growth in the number of passengers transported, the company reduced the number of flights carried out by 2.5%.
The three main companies increased the number of passengers transported in 2025. Gol recorded the biggest growth, with an increase of 13% in the movement of domestic passengers and 11% in the number of flights. Latam increased passenger volume by 11.5% and its domestic operations by 9.1%.
In total, the Brazilian domestic market transported 101 million passengers in 2025, an increase of 8.4% compared to 2024 and the first time that the sector surpassed the 100 million passenger mark in a single year. The aircraft utilization rate reached 83.6%, the highest level in the agency's historical series.
