Salaam asks Jada to pay him US$3 million (R$15 million) for threats and emotional damages, alleging that the actress sent people to intimidate him because he refused to help clean up Will's image after the slap given to Chris Rock during the 2022 Oscar ceremony.
He also claimed that in 2021, Jada threatened him during a party, allegedly telling him that if he didn't stop talking about her personal life, he would "get shot."
According to the website, on July 7, Salaam sent an email to the actress' lawyers asking Will to testify. In response, the lawyers said that the actor has no relation to the action.
Furthermore, Jada, according to TMZ, filed a petition to force Bilaal to provide additional evidence in the process, where the email obtained by the website was attached.
The case was opened in November 2025 and revealed by People magazine. Initially, the judge had rejected part of the charges and ordered Salaam to pay more than US$30,000 (R$150,000) to Jada. Still, the case is still ongoing in court.
