RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ (FOLHAPRESS) - Pará singer Viviane Batidão, 42, canceled her show on Sunday night (2) in Curuçá, in the northeast of Pará, after suffering a speedboat accident while returning from a performance in Oeiras do Pará. In a post on social media, the artist stated that she and her team are doing well and thanked them for the messages of support.

According to Viviane, the vessel they were traveling on left the route and collided with trees on the route between Oeiras do Pará and Cametá, where the group would disembark this Sunday morning. Some team members suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital. There were no records of victims in serious condition.

Videos released by the singer show the scene after the collision, with trees over the speedboat's path. "I thank God very much for our deliverance and thank you very much for everyone's concern", wrote the interpreter of "Olha Bem Pra Mim" and "Haja Paciência".

In a statement, the team informed that the cancellation of the presentation in Curuçá was decided to preserve the recovery and well-being of those involved. Viviane also thanked the mayor of Oeiras do Pará, Gilma Ribeiro (PP), and the municipality's health teams for the care provided after the accident.

The circumstances of the collision were not detailed by the singer's press office and the causes of the accident will be investigated by the authorities.
