SÃO PAULO, SP (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) - The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) updated e-Título, an official app that works as a digital version of the voter registration card, with new functions and enhanced security for the 2026 elections.

New version of e-Título brings together services that previously required other Electoral Justice platforms. The idea, according to the TSE, is to give voters more autonomy and facilitate the use of the document on voting day.

Court recommends downloading and updating the application in advance to avoid instability close to the election. With the app installed, the voter now has the digital document ready to present as identification at the polling station, when applicable.

Tracking of requests made on Título Net now appears within the application. Voters can monitor the progress of requests sent to the Electoral Court in real time by accessing the 'More options' tab.

App started issuing party membership certificates in two ways. The Simple version shows the current connection and the History version provides a detailed record of previous affiliations; the service is only available to those who have an e-Título validated by biometric verification.

Authentication Code Tool creates a temporary token for identity validation. For security, the feature requires facial recognition (selfie video) before releasing the code on the screen.

Active Sync automatically updates biographical and biometric data in the app. Changes such as name or marital status now appear on the home screen without the need to reinstall the application or reissue the digital document.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS ANNOUNCED BY THE TSE

Reading a QR Code on your cell phone allows you to validate the authenticity of electoral certificates. The TSE says that the check can be carried out instantly for documents such as electoral discharge certificates and electoral crimes.

The absence justification flow has been redesigned for those outside the electoral domicile. The step-by-step process was simplified both for justification on election day, using geolocation, and for justification after the election, with attachments being sent.

Payment of electoral fines is now made by PagTesouro within e-Título. According to the TSE, payment can be made via Pix or credit card, speeding up the settlement of outstanding issues due to unexcused absence.

The 'Boletim na Mão' module was integrated into e-Título and gained the option to share several ballots from the ballot box. The change eliminates the need for a second application and expands the ways of consultation and sharing by inspectors, parties and citizens.

The app also allows you to request the unsubscription of a volunteer poll worker via cell phone. The system inactivates the registration immediately and informs the rules for a possible new registration, according to the TSE.

The application is free and available on Google Play and App Store. The TSE recommends keeping automatic updates turned on to receive security fixes and improvements.
