According to the Washington Times, Wall Street traders who pay a fee of more than US$100,000 per month will be able to access the Truth API, an application programming interface, to track posts.
"This is designed to provide companies with a direct, licensed, real-time feed of the platform's most impactful market truths, while driving our strategy of monetizing assets through a high-margin, recurring revenue stream," company administrator Kevin McGurn said in a statement.
According to the media company, customers have already started registering. The president was not mentioned in the statement, despite his being Truth Social's largest account. Trump publishes about economic policies, political attacks on opponents and comments on global issues.
Democratic Senators Adam Schiff of California and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts this week called on the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate possible violations in the service.
The president's publications about the war between the USA and Iran, for example, caused oil prices to fluctuate significantly.
In another example of interference, U.S. Steel shares soared after Trump promoted foreign investment in the company.
Some of the most followed accounts on Truth Social belong to Trump himself and those closely aligned with him, including his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, as well as prominent supporters like Dan Bongino and Sean Hannity.
