Strong Images: Mexican influencer is murdered during live

The young man, just 25 years old, had half a million followers on TikTok and 200,000 on Instagram, where he shared content about his daily life, travels and luxury cars.

The influencer was with two friends in front of a KFC restaurant when two men on a motorcycle approached and fired shots. The crime was recorded by his cameraman as he was doing a live broadcast at the time the crime occurred.

Mexican authorities are investigating a possible link to organized crime.

According to the website Mundo Deportivo, although the motivation for the crime has not been confirmed, the truth is that it occurs in a context of war between the main factions of the Sinaloa Cartel. This conflict greatly increased violence in the region.

The Sinaloa Cartel is one of the largest and most violent drug trafficking organizations in the world.

The Mexican police stated that, according to recent publications on the influencer's social networks, it is possible to see that there may be "an allusion to a faction of a criminal group".
