Real Madrid reached the limit in the Vinícius Júnior case and decided to present a kind of ultimatum to the player. After several weeks of impasse surrounding the Brazilian's future, the Spanish club refused to remain in uncertainty and demanded an answer.

According to the newspaper Marca, the club led by Florentino Pérez has decided to present a final contract renewal offer and has already notified the striker's representatives. In practice, the Madrid club does not intend to open a new round of negotiations and is therefore not willing to offer a new salary increase.

Furthermore, Real Madrid's position is defined and there is no room for change: either Vinícius Júnior accepts the renewal proposal or he will leave the club in this summer transfer window.

In other words, if the Brazilian does not accept the conditions presented by the club, leaving will be a real possibility, as Real Madrid will open the doors to possible negotiations with other teams.

It is worth remembering that Vinícius Júnior will enter the final year of his contract, which ends on June 30, 2027. This means that the striker could leave the club next summer as a free player, something that is not desired by the board led by Florentino Pérez.

As the relationship between the two parties is close to ending, Real Madrid does not want to let the renewal fail and run the risk of losing the player for free next season. Therefore, the club has set a deadline so that it still has time to negotiate the Brazilian's eventual departure during this summer transfer window.

Renewal is a priorityStill, the Valdebebas club does not hide that its main objective is to guarantee the renewal of the player, who is demanding significant changes to his salary. After all, the striker is one of the team's stars and a key part of the squad led by José Mourinho, having been one of the club's main names in recent seasons.

This, however, does not mean that Real Madrid are willing to do anything to keep him in the squad. The club has already made it clear that it does not intend to change the squad's salary structure, to prevent the situation from having any impact on the dressing room environment.

The case gained even more strength after Arsenal arrived on the scene showing possible interest in signing Vinícius Júnior. The English club would be hopeful that Real Madrid would be able to part with a large amount of money to sell the player.

However, the newspaper Sport had already reported that the Madrid club intends to receive at least 160 million euros for the Brazilian's departure.
