12 years ago, Kaline Macedo was in a relationship with her partner, whose name was not disclosed. The man died at the age of 41, in a car accident, when he was returning from a trip with one of his lovers, a 19-year-old girl who was an intern at the company where he worked.

The civil engineer and architect was in the interior of Bahia, visiting her family, when she received the news. "I was in shock. I was devastated because I felt guilty for having spent three years trying to break up with him. That's how I ended up discovering that he took pleasure in deceiving women and that they all thought he had broken up with me", she reported.

According to Kaline, who told Marie Claire, the young woman her partner had been dating for three years had been his childhood girlfriend. In addition to the intern, there was another 19-year-old girl involved in the story, who had written in her description on social media that she was the man's widow.

After talking to her, the architect discovered that the two had been together for a month and that they had met on a dating app, where the partner said he was looking for a serious relationship. There was still another girlfriend, but the relationship had already ended because of the "strange stories" the man told her.

Kaline tried to end the relationship for three years, after concluding that the relationship was unhealthy, but the man "wouldn't allow it".
