Images obtained by the police show that, as soon as the car stopped to wait for the condominium gate to open, two men on a motorcycle approached and fired a series of shots at the vehicle.
In a statement, the Civil Police stated that the capital's Homicide Police Station was called to investigate the case.
The PM had been arrested red-handed in 2023 inside a truck transporting 151 kg of cocaine. He was appointed as a trusted man by Wilton Carlos Rabello Quintanilha, known as Abelha, one of the leaders of Comando Vermelho in the state.
