Photo with 'Vorcaro's henchman' creates a "big problem" for Flávio Bolsonaro

This Wednesday (15), the ICL news portal released a photo of senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, with Luiz Phillipi Machado de Moraes Mourão, 'Sicário', head of a private militia organized by banker Daniel Vorcaro, former owner of Banco Master.

The media outlet cites that the image was taken in 2022, in a hotel in the south zone, in Rio de Janeiro, where the parliamentarian appears in a relaxed manner with 'Sicário'.

The ICL said in the publication that the website ran the image through detection tools for signs that it had been generated with artificial intelligence and that none of them found signs of manipulation by AI. Analysis carried out with the InVID tool also revealed no signs that the image had been manipulated, or that it was a montage.

The situation points to an alleged connection between the Bolsonaro family and Daniel Vorcaro (the head of Sicário) and people around him, such as Fabiano Campos Zettel who, according to the PF, donated R$3 million to Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) re-election campaign in 2022.

Appointed as a member of the militia linked to former banker Daniel Vorcaro, Sicário committed suicide after being arrested in March. He was considered by the PF to be one of the central operators of a group known as “The Gang”, responsible for monitoring and collecting information on people considered to be Vorcaro's adversaries.

In a statement, the senator told the column that “as a public and extremely popular figure, every day he receives requests from dozens of people on the streets for photos”. Flávio Bolsonaro said he doesn't know Sicário.
