Mother of assaulted young man calls for expulsion of PM from corporation

Teenager's "mental health is affected". He had cuts on his face and his ribs were painful, his mother explained in an interview with Rádio Nova Liberdade.

"What I want is justice, because what I really wanted was for him to be in prison, paying for what he did. What I want is for him to be expelled from the corporation, it's the least that has to be done at the moment", said the teenager's mother.

Mother is afraid that her son will go out alone. According to her, the concern increased because the police officer was a neighbor of the auto parts store where the young man works.

The Military Police reported that the sergeant is on provisional release. In a statement, the corporation states that he was removed from operational service and will only carry out administrative activities until the conclusion of the judicial and administrative procedures in the case.

Sergeant Ricardo Lima Nascimento was released after paying bail of R$3,000. In addition to paying bail, he cannot approach the young man attacked and had a firearm collected while he responds to the case.

The teenager, who works as a young apprentice, was at work when he was attacked. The entire scene was recorded by the establishment's security cameras, which show the soldier attacking the young man.

The officer claimed the teenager was "staring at the police." Afterwards, the agent presses the young man against the wall and starts attacking him by slapping him in the face. Afterwards, the PM knocks the teenager to the ground and continues the attacks.

"If you ever look at me again, in your life, I will kill you. You will sign your death warrant. If I find you again, I will blow your face off," said Sergeant Ricardo Lima Nascimento.

The young man tried to defend himself. "I didn't look at you, sir. I just came to work," he says.
