Milton turned 83 years old in October last year. In 2020, health problems weakened the singer. He appeared in photos in a wheelchair, had difficulty moving around and, in 2023, was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
Last year, Milton was also diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. The artist said goodbye to the stage on November 13, 2022, at the show that ended, with more than 60 thousand people, "The Last Music Session", his historic tour that toured Brazil.
