Michelle was admitted to the health unit on Saturday night (1st) with a headache that had not responded to medications administered orally. During hospitalization, she underwent examinations and an anesthetic block of cranial and pericranial nerves.
According to the medical report, the procedure presented a satisfactory result. Michelle was discharged on Sunday afternoon, with a recommendation for follow-up by the team responsible for her treatment.
The candidacy was confirmed during the PL district convention. Federal deputy Bia Kicis was also announced to run for one of the two seats in the Federal District in the Senate. The party also announced support for Celina Leão's re-election attempt to the district government.
During the event, Flávio Bolsonaro wished his stepmother a speedy recovery.
“Soon he will be back, firm and strong, to help us recover this Brazil”, declared the senator.
This will be the first time that Michelle will run for elected office. A member of the PL since 2022, she gained national political prominence during Jair Bolsonaro's government and became one of the party's main representatives among female and evangelical audiences.
As First Lady, between 2019 and 2022, Michelle worked on initiatives related to the inclusion of people with disabilities, the promotion of Brazilian Sign Language and voluntary work aimed at socially vulnerable groups.
