Iran attacks US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain and says it killed soldiers

"The powerful fighters of the Revolutionary Guard Land Forces attacked the concentration site of the aggressor forces in Arifjan, Kuwait, and caused the death of several soldiers," the elite Iranian force said in a statement released by the Fars agency and reproduced by EFE.

The statement came a day after the United States denied Iran's claims that its forces had killed American soldiers in an attack on the Al Tanf military zone in Syria.

The Revolutionary Guard also reported that, in another drone attack, it destroyed the radar at the US base of Ali Al Salem, in Kuwait, as well as a weapons repair and maintenance hangar and a shelter for drones.

In another statement, the Revolutionary Guard also stated that it had carried out "forceful operations" with drones and missiles against the US fleet's support and fuel supply pier at the port of Al Ahmadi, in Kuwait, and against the area where enemy combat aircraft were concentrated at the Sheikh Isa base, in Bahrain.

Kuwait reported this Saturday that a second power generation and water desalination plant was hit by Iran, causing a fire and forcing the shutdown of several production units.

In addition, Iran claimed to have destroyed the intelligence center known as "Batelco" in Bahrain, as well as a US communications and signals intelligence center in Kuwait.

A journalist from the AFP agency, in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, heard several explosions during the morning, after the warning sirens were activated.

"The Bahrain Defense Force's air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several insidious Iranian airstrikes on Saturday," the army said in a statement, after the Interior Ministry announced that warning sirens had been sounded four times since dawn.

In turn, the Iranian Army announced that it attacked the aircraft hangars and fuel depots of US forces at the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain, as well as several bridges.

According to the Iranian Armed Forces, these attacks were carried out in response to US bombings against Iranian territory, which continued during the early hours of Saturday for the seventh consecutive day.

"Countries that host US military personnel and have made their territories available to these criminal aggressors to attack Iran must prepare to receive an equivalent response," the Revolutionary Guard warned in its statement.

The Iranian military stated that, for now, it has chosen to attack military targets in countries that host United States forces, but warned that the response could be expanded if attacks against Iran continue.
