"The PT labeled the [women's] agenda as if right-wing women were submissive. It is not. We are equal. It is in the Bible: men and women are equal beings before God and complementary in their vocations", he declared.
The economist stated that equality does not eliminate biological differences between the sexes. In her assessment, sectors of the left constructed a vision according to which, to demonstrate strength, women would need to compete for space with men.
Daniella used her own family as an example and advocated that each couple have the freedom to organize their routine according to their needs.
"That's not true. I'm a mother, I'm a wife, you know my family, my husband and each family has the freedom to make their own arrangement. If they both want to work, they both help at home [...]. Flávio and Fernanda are partners, you [Eduardo] and Heloísa are partners and each family has to have the freedom to make their own arrangement. So, they create this narrative that imprisons us", she stated.
The statements occurred while the PL discusses the composition of Flávio Bolsonaro's ticket for the dispute for the Presidency of the Republic. Daniella gained space in the articulations and is cited as one of the main possibilities to occupy the vice position, although the name faces resistance in sectors of the PL and the Republicans themselves.
Flávio has already expressed his preference for a woman as his running mate. The former president of Caixa also participates in the preparation of proposals aimed at female voters and acts as a pre-campaign economic advisor.
The eventual nomination depends on an agreement between PL and Republicans. Negotiations involving state disputes and support for the candidacies of the two acronyms still make it difficult to define the ticket, which could be announced during the PL national convention, scheduled for Saturday (25), in São Paulo.
