The presenter reflected on the rivalry between Brazil and the neighboring country in football and commented on a text published by professor André Nicolitt about relations between colonized countries and colonizers.
"I was seeing this post by Professor André Nicolitt in which he said that we should support the colonized countries, which suffered more, which had a more oppressed history, and not support the colonizers. And when Argentina enters, we Brazilians are completely against them", he stated.
She acknowledged that the feud is historic and cited Pelé and Maradona as symbols of this rivalry. Fernanda also commented that the perception that Brazilians have of Argentina is distorted and that the neighboring country has a lot to offer. She was not exempt from supporting Messi's team and, while watching the semi-final match, she confessed that she also wanted Argentina to go home.
"Why do we support against it? Is it not our repression? Because yesterday I was watching the game and thinking: 'Wow, but it was us who were supposed to be there, not them'. But they are there because it was their race. I also think there was robbery, but the guys are rude, they are rude", he admitted.
