A designer from Porto Alegre transformed around 3,000 discarded stickers from the 2026 World Cup into a conceptual wedding dress. The idea came about after realizing the amount of material thrown away while her 10-year-old daughter and her husband were trying to complete the tournament albums.

"I started joking that I would make an album just with the papers, because everything would end up in the trash. Then I thought it would be possible to reuse the material and create something different", Aline Raguzzoni told g1.

To gather the necessary amount, the family counted on the help of neighbors, colleagues and groups of parents from the school and condominium. The designer's daughter also took home, every day, several packets of papers discarded by her colleagues.

In total, Aline used around 2,890 units to make the piece, although she raised approximately three times more than necessary.

According to the designer, the dress was not created to be worn in a ceremony, but as an artistic installation. The project also draws attention to the importance of recycling and correctly disposing of this type of material.

After the exhibition period, the piece must be dismantled and sent to the appropriate destination, taking into account the volume and composition of the papers used.
