Actress Colleen Zenk arrested after drunk driving accident

According to authorities, police were called to respond to a collision between two vehicles near Strada Place. Colleen Zenk was eventually charged with driving under the influence causing property damage and driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 percent or greater, according to case records.

In a statement sent to People magazine on June 30, the actress' representative stated that "the allegations are being disputed."

"Ms. Zenk has not been convicted of any crime. The truth will be clarified in court," he added.

According to a witness, Colleen Zenk left a parking space designated for people with disabilities, located near a Tommy Bahama store, when her car hit another parked vehicle.

According to the report, the actress left the scene after the collision, but was approached shortly afterwards. Witnesses stated that she appeared to be staggering as she exited the vehicle.

The police officer responsible for the incident also reported smelling alcohol when he spoke to the actress.

Colleen Zenk informed agents that she had been at a bar, where she said she had consumed "two glasses of wine."

Court records also show that the actress posted bail after being arrested. Since then, through his lawyer, he has pleaded not guilty. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for July 29.

People magazine also reports that Colleen Zenk already has a history of incidents related to driving under the influence of alcohol. In 2017, she was charged with a similar offense in Collier County, Florida. In 2010, she was arrested in Connecticut after the police alleged that she was driving erratically, going so far as to invade the oncoming lane, at which time she was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
