We want Londrina to be a reference in architecture in Brazil

Disclosure. Haikai, along with other projects launched in recent years, represents Plaenge's ambition to transform Londrina into an architectural reference in Brazil. Marcelo Resquetti, director of the company, believes that the city is already on the right path. There is an interest in architecture in Londrina that surprised even the project's creators: "In Praça dos Pioneiros, Praça Pé Vermelho and in front of Artesano, you can see people looking up, photographing and filming the facades of buildings. It's a real transformation in the way the population interacts with architecture", says Resquetti, who sees each new project as an opportunity to raise the standard and create something that inspires pride in Londoners. Disclosure. What does the release of Haikai mean for Plaenge? It is a celebration of a project that we have been developing for several years, with dozens of professionals involved, and which consolidates the proposal to bring, to each new development, international and innovative signatures to enrich the city's architecture. Clients already recognize and value this, which is evident in their understanding of the value of the project and the signatures in architecture, lighting and landscaping.

Disclosure. What is Plaenge’s vision for the future of Londrina? We want to continue transforming the city’s landscape. When we travel abroad, we see people looking up, admiring the beautiful buildings of Dubai, New York, Chicago. We want Londrina to be like this, for people to look up and see works of art that will remain as elements of the city forever. My dream is for Londrina to be recognized as one of the cities with the best architecture in Brazil. Do you believe this is already happening? Yes. There is an architectural tourism movement in the city that we didn't expect so soon. The other day, I saw someone in Praça Pé Vermelho (which was built by Plaenge) doing a live broadcast, filming the facades of the buildings and saying: ‘Wow, look where I am. What a delicious place. I didn’t think this existed in Brazil.’ She was discovering the beauty of Londrina’s architecture. If you walk near Praça dos Pioneiros (also delivered by Plaenge), Praça Pé Vermelho and our award-winning icon, Artesano, you see people looking up, taking photos, filming. It is a real transformation in the way people interact with our architectural proposals for the city. Why has Plaenge invested in quality architecture? We are from Londrina, we live here and we don't think about moving, so we want to live in a beautiful city.
