According to him, one of the valves, which is old, broke during maintenance preparation. "During the tests we were carrying out, as the equipment was old, we noticed a rupture and had to make an operational decision to act to guarantee the security of supply." According to the director, despite the complexity of replacing the old valves, the work continues as expected. "As the equipment is old, it is somewhat difficult to do the work, it requires more time, but it is running normally." Lack of water in neighborhoods Throughout this Tuesday (21), several neighborhoods registered a lack of water or low pressure in the supply. Residents reported difficulties in carrying out basic activities, while traders suffered losses due to cancellation of services, closure of establishments and increased costs to keep activities running.
