The Union recognizes an emergency situation in the 16 municipalities of AP due to an outbreak of respiratory viruses. History and causes The federal ordinance is based on Decree No. 4,864, signed by the government of Amapá last Friday (3). The state measure continues the previous public health decree in June, motivated by the increase in cases of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SRAG) in the state. The emergency situation declared by the state is valid for 180 days.
