Sirene Heloise Hamada/g1 The Military Police arrested a man suspected of sexually harassing app drivers in Porto Velho. According to the investigation, at least two women reported being victims of the same passenger in incidents recorded on different days. What happened? The arrest took place on Tuesday afternoon (28), after one of the drivers called the Military Police shortly after, according to her, being forcibly kissed by a passenger. According to the investigation by Rede Amazônica, the driver had made two runs for the same man on the same day. The first time, he asked for a trip to a store and, before getting out of the car, he kissed the driver on the face. Hours later, the same professional accepted a new ride for the passenger, this time to a shopping mall. At the end of the trip, she reported that the man grabbed her and forcibly kissed her on the mouth. Following the complaint, military police officers went to the location and arrested the suspect red-handed. According to the complaint, she also made two trips for the same passenger last Saturday (25). At the end of one of the trips, when the man was paying by card, he allegedly tried to hug and kiss her by force. The two cases will now be investigated by the Civil Police, which will determine whether there are other possible victims and the circumstances of the crimes.
