Truck spills a load of iron and causes a 1-hour closure on Rodovia dos Tamoios, in Caraguatatuba Divulgação/Artesp A truck spilled part of its load of iron bars and mesh on Rodovia dos Tamoios (SP-099), in Caraguatatuba, in the early hours of this Tuesday (14). The accident caused the closure of lanes on the coastal road for 1h30. According to the Transport Agency of the State of São Paulo (Artesp), the incident occurred around 4:30 am, at km 70. The truck was traveling along lane 2 when part of the load detached from the body and was spread over the road and the shoulder. Due to the weight of the material, it was necessary to close lane 2 to remove the load. The shoulder and the zebra crossing also remained closed during the incident. ? The vehicle remained in place because, after the cargo was released, it was not in a safe condition to continue its journey.
