Administrative Political Center of Rondônia, in Porto Velho. Pedro Bentes/G1 The Government of Rondônia sanctioned a law that transfers R$231.5 million from the Health budget. The money that was reserved for the implementation of the Urgency and Emergency Hospital of Rondônia (Heuro), in Porto Velho, and for Public-Private Partnership contracts (PPPs) will be used to cover other expenses in the area. The law was published in a supplementary edition of the Official State Gazette last Friday (10) and is signed by the acting governor, judge Alexandre Miguel. ?? Of the total amount relocated, R$70 million was planned for the rental of the Heuro building, with the possibility of the property becoming State property at the end of the contract. Another R$161.5 million was allocated to the payment of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contracts. See the trending videos on g1:

According to the law, the R$231.5 million will be allocated to the State Health Fund (FES) to cover maintenance and service outsourcing expenses throughout 2026. Among the main destinations of the resources are: R$89.7 million to guarantee services through agreements and contracts with the private network; R$76.5 million for financial support for city halls and entities that work in the health sector; R$25.2 million for maintenance of state hospital units; R$ 12.4 million for other expenses of hospital units. The law came into force on the date of publication. The text does not inform whether the withdrawal of resources allocated to Heuro will have an impact on the unit's implementation schedule or the planned lease contract. g1 contacted the Government of Rondônia to find out why the resources were reallocated and whether the change affects the Heuro project, but until the last update of this report, there was no response.
