According to the Military Police, the team was called at around 9:30 am by a resident of a nearby building, who saw the vehicle shortly after the accident, in the Jardim das Colinas neighborhood. According to the PM, the driver was removed from the truck by people passing by. He refused medical attention. ? However, a resident who witnessed the accident says that the truck lost control, climbed onto the sidewalk, knocked over the pedestrian guardrail and fell into the stream.
