IPCA-15 slows down and comes in below projections The Broad National Consumer Price Index 15 (IPCA-15), considered the preview of the country's official inflation, registered an increase of 0.06% in July. The data was released this Tuesday (28) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The result represents a slowdown compared to the previous month, when the indicator increased by 0.41%, and was well below projections — according to surveys carried out by Reuters, economists predicted an increase of 0.20% for the period.
