The victims who died at the scene were identified as Maria de Jesus Alves Luz, aged 49, and her son, Luís Augusto Júnior, aged 26. With the force of the impact, one of the victims was trapped in the vehicle's hardware. Fire Department teams were called and carried out the work of extricating the body. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was also on site to help survivors. The four injured people received first aid and were taken to the Conceição do Araguaia Regional Hospital. Their health status was not disclosed. The drivers and survivors involved in the Conceição do Araguaia collision were taken to the Civil Police station to give statements.
