A commercial establishment, which functions as a bar and market, had its roof ripped off. The structure flew and hit neighboring homes. Only one commercial wall remained standing. The hail accumulated on the ground. Trader Claudionir de Souza, owner of the market that has existed for 18 years, reported the scare in the morning. "A lot of damage, a lot of damage. Everyone was asleep and woke up to the noise, it was very intense, everyone was scared, it was very strong. Everything was destroyed. It was terrible," he says. According to the resident, the region had never recorded a storm of this intensity. "Not like this, we've never had a strong storm", says Claudionir.
