Sicoob Credisul campaign mobilizes blood donors Disclosure For six years, Sicoob Credisul has been running the Cooperar Corre em Nossas Veias campaign, an initiative to encourage blood donation developed in partnership with blood centers in Rondônia, Mato Grosso and Acre. In 2026, the campaign gained momentum, with the expansion of mobilizations carried out in the week leading up to World Blood Donor Day, celebrated on June 14, bringing together employees, cooperative members and the community to strengthen blood bank stocks. During the intensification of the campaign, the actions took place in Porto Velho (RO), Vilhena (RO), Rio Branco (AC), Cuiabá (MT), Cáceres (MT), Tangará da Serra (MT), Sinop (MT) and Cruzeiro do Sul (AC), in partnership with the blood centers in each municipality. In Vilhena, the Rondônia Hematology and Hemotherapy Foundation (Fhemeron) took its team and all the necessary structure to carry out the collections at the Sicoob Credisul Training Center, facilitating access for the population and increasing the participation of volunteers. Until the month of July, the campaign recorded 237 bags of blood collected. The result has the potential to benefit approximately 948 people, considering that a single donation can save up to four lives. In addition to contributing to strengthening blood center stocks, the campaign brings cooperative members, collaborators, partners and health institutions together around a cause of collective interest. The initiative integrates the cooperative's social responsibility actions and highlights, in practice, one of the principles of cooperativism: interest in the community. "Cooperativism exists to transform realities through the union of people. When employees, members and the community mobilize for a cause such as blood donation, we put into practice one of the most important principles of our business model, which is interest in the community. The Cooperar Corre em Nossas Veias campaign represents exactly that, people cooperating to save lives", says Vilmar Saúgo, CEO of Sicoob Credisul. For Michele Toledo, director of Fhemeron in Vilhena, partnerships like this are essential to strengthen blood stocks and increase the population's awareness of the importance of regular donation. "Campaigns carried out in partnership with institutions committed to the community are essential to keep stocks supplied and raise awareness among the population about the need for regular donation. Each donor makes a difference for those waiting for a transfusion", he highlights. Sicoob Credisul carries out the Cooperate Corre em Nossas Veias campaign
