At around 2:50 am, a 39-year-old man threatened his 49-year-old partner with a knife during an argument and made death threats, according to police records. The case took place at a gas station in Vila Assumpção, in Botucatu. The victim managed to escape and called for help. The suspect was located nearby by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) and arrested. According to police records, he was drunk, cursed the victim, threw a plate of food at her and ripped out the electrical wiring in the residence. Upon noticing the arrival of the GCM, he tried to escape, but ended up arrested. Injuries to the neck and ear In the afternoon, at around 3:50 pm, a 29-year-old man was arrested after trying to hang his partner, 41, and trying to stab her with a knife, in Jardim Santa Mônica, in Botucatu. The victim suffered injuries to his neck and a cut to his ear. Her daughters intervened to stop the attacks, and the Military Police were called. The man was arrested red-handed. About two hours later, at around 5:50 pm, neighbors called the GCM after hearing cries for help from a residence in Jardim Paraíso. A 31-year-old woman reported that she had been suffering psychological violence. According to the police, during an argument, her 30-year-old partner pressed her against a closet, squeezed her neck and threatened to kill her. He was arrested at the scene. On Sunday, three other incidents were recorded. The first of them occurred at around 10:55 am, in Botucatu, in Vila Atlântica. A 49-year-old man was arrested after physically attacking his 52-year-old wife using a PVC pipe. Another case occurred around 5 pm, in the parking lot of a commercial establishment in Botucatu, in the Lavapés neighborhood. A 46-year-old woman was arrested after attacking her ex-partner, 49, with a piece of wood, biting him on the arms and threatening to kill him. The couple has been separated for about a year, and the woman reportedly went to her ex-husband's workplace after discovering that he was in a new relationship. The Municipal Guard witnessed the aggression, intervened and arrested the perpetrator red-handed. In São Manuel In São Manuel, at 11:20 am on Sunday, a 28-year-old woman was physically and verbally attacked by her 36-year-old partner, in Jardim Ouro Verde. According to police records, the attacks lasted about half an hour. Military police officers found the suspect at the scene and arrested him. All cases were presented to the Civil Police on duty.
