The renewal process was extended twice, in May and June, totaling five months for re-registration.

Regularization To stay up to date with the municipality, permit holders must attend the Road Commerce Inspection Section, at Praça dos Andradas, 12, in the Center. At the address, street vendors must deliver the original documents to room 41. Among the items are identification documents, medical certificates, criminal record certificates, proof of residence and a 3x4 photo. Food vendors must also present a food handling course certificate. Limit The renewal takes place so that the municipality can update the number of active street vendors, considering that there is a limit of 1,300 licenses for street trading, distributed between the sand strip, seafront, central area, port region, Northwest Zone, Hills and Continental Area (see below). 300 aimed at the sandy beaches 700 licenses for the Seafront (boardwalk), Central Area and Port Region 300 spaces allocated to the Northwest Zone, the Morros and the Continental Area.
