A Graxa, from São Paulo, is a finalist in the João Rock band competition The band A Graxa, from São Paulo (SP), is one of the three finalists in the competition for a place on the main stage of João Rock 2026. The selection for the last phase of the competition promoted by the festival considered public voting, technical criteria such as originality, artistic presence and musical quality of the band from São Paulo. The decision takes place this Saturday (18) in Ribeirão Preto (SP). On the occasion, the quartet will perform a live show for the judges alongside the bands Lizium (RJ) and Vaine e Funkse (MG). Whoever takes first place will open the festival on August 1st. The group has an original repertoire and bases its work on the union of rock, rap, hip hop and MPB.
