The demonstration began around 6am and ended at 8am this Monday. The road connects the capital of Acre to the municipality of Porto Acre, in the interior of the state. During the blockade, which also required improvements to the neighborhood's infrastructure, a line of vehicles, including cars and trucks, formed in the closed section. ? To g1, Rio Branco City Hall informed that it reached an agreement with residents and that, at the meeting, they must plan medium and long-term actions to resolve the problem. At the demonstration, residents held posters criticizing municipal management. The community representative, Dirceu Oliveira, said that the main charge is for the delivery of UBS do Mulateiro. The initial forecast, according to the resident, was that the unit would be completed within five months after construction began. In addition to the UBS, residents also demand improvements in the neighborhood's infrastructure, such as street repairs, problems with sewage, sidewalks and lack of leisure areas for children. "Our neighborhood is forgotten, our people don't deserve to go through this. The only improvement here is a garden. There is also no play area for children. What was there was a football field, but they used part of it to build the UBS, reduced it, felled a good number of trees and abandoned the construction", he added.
