From 5 am, there will be closures and changes to vehicle circulation along the race route, which starts in the Center and continues through neighborhoods in the Central, North and Northeast regions of the city. According to the city hall, most of the roads will have temporary closures, with release soon after the athletes pass. The circuit is expected to be completed at 1pm. ? See the main closures and changes: Halfeld Park: race start at 5am; Ruas Santo Antônio and Marechal Deodoro: access from the corridors to the central lane of Avenida Barão do Rio Branco; Avenida Barão do Rio Branco (central lane): exclusive use for athletes in the direction of Bom Pastor until Rua Delfim Moreira; Pedro Marques Bridge (Manoel Honório Bridge): passage for competitors to Avenida Brasil; Avenida Brasil (towards Zona Norte): occupation of one lane during part of the route; Avenida Garcia Rodrigues Paes (North Access): section used by corridors to Ponte da Remonta; Estrada da Remonta: round trip for approximately five kilometers; Benfica: return at the intersection between Avenida Garcia Rodrigues Paes and Avenida Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek (JK); Colégio Militar: circuit before returning towards Avenida Brasil; Ramiz Gonzalez Viaduct: access for athletes to Avenida Brasil; Avenida Brasil (direction against the flow): occupation of the side lane until arrival, at a dealership at number 6.001. Drivers should avoid the race route and use alternative routes. Changes in traffic will also be reported via variable message boards and through the Waze app. The bus lines that pass along the race route will operate with temporary detours during the competition.
