One man was partially buried and had to be removed by rescue teams. A woman in a wheelchair ended up falling from the third floor of the property and suffered a fractured femur. The third victim is a woman who was injured while trying to help one of the people affected. According to firefighters, the animals did not indicate the presence of other victims in the property. The area was isolated and remains closed because there is a risk of further landslides. Residents of nearby properties had to leave their homes for safety reasons and were assisted by the municipality's Social Assistance. Civil Defense points out structural problems According to the State Civil Defense, a preliminary inspection identified several construction pathologies that may have contributed to the partial collapse of the building. These include detachment of slabs, detachment of concrete, as well as apparent cracks and cracks, indicating, in an initial analysis, possible construction deficiencies. According to the agency, City Hall engineers will carry out a detailed technical inspection to assess the condition of the remaining structure and determine whether it will be necessary to demolish the rest of the building. The Military Police isolated the entire area to ensure the safety of the population, while the Civil Police carried out the investigation at the scene.
