g1 Highlights: Pernambuco Meu País Festival schedule is released Starting this Wednesday (22), the municipality of Salgueiro, in Sertão, will host another edition of the Pernambuco Meu País Festival. The event is held by the city hall in partnership with the state government. The program continues until Sunday (26) and offers activities in different cultural and artistic languages. Musical performances will be held between Friday (24) and Sunday, at the Gumercindo Filgueira Sampaio Exhibition Park. Entry is free. The festival also features activities focused on literature, performing arts, instrumental music, popular cultures, visual arts and circus. Photography, fashion, crafts, creative economy and cultural training complete the schedule. The actions involve artists, cultural groups and cultural masters. The objective is to promote integration with the residents of Salgueiro and the region. This Wednesday, the program begins with Forma PE, an action aimed at training and qualifying cultural agents. Four free workshops and the Catwalk Workshop will be held, with meetings until Saturday at the Technological Vocational Center (CVT). On Thursday (23), the Trupe Pernambuco Meu País takes a procession to the streets and avenues of the Center. The walk leaves Girador do Prado, starting at 4pm, towards the vicinity of the Leather Museum. The cultural event will bring together several artists, who will also occupy different neighborhoods of the city between Friday and Sunday.
