According to the Civil Police, at least three victims reported the abuse. According to the police, the pastor took intimate photos of the victims under the pretext of carrying out "body monitoring". In return, the teenagers received gifts. The investigations began after a complaint made by a member of the church where the suspect attended. The Maiobão Police Station opened an investigation and represented the Court for the preventive detention of the person being investigated. During the execution of the arrest warrant, computers, flash drives, cell phones and a tablet that were in the suspect's possession were seized. He was then sent to the Investigation and Custody Center, where he will remain at the disposal of the Justice Department.
