New house transforms the lives of 551 families in Araraquara Credit: Disclosure. A new chapter began for 551 families from Araraquara with the handover of the keys to the houses at Residencial Parque da Cidadania, located in Chácara Flora. The event took place on Tuesday morning (28). The houses were financed by Caixa Econômica Federal, with support from the Ministry of Cities. The houses have a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom, covered laundry area and were built on 200 square meter plots, with the possibility of expansion. The new neighborhood has complete infrastructure, including asphalt, water and electricity. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Dr. Lapena who was accompanied by the DAAE superintendent, Wiliam Thomaz Márega and municipal secretaries. The delegation was received by representatives from Construtora Pacaembu, the Engineering director, Daniel Rocha, and the Business director, Fred Escobar. During the event, the mayor symbolically handed over the keys to two eligible families. Afterwards, he visited one of the residences to get a closer look at the construction standard of the project and followed a presentation of the structure of the new neighborhood. "Today we deliver more than houses. We deliver dignity and a new beginning to 551 families. This is the result of working together for the benefit of the population." Pacaembu's Business Director, Fred Escobar, highlighted the social impact of the venture. "Each house delivered represents a better quality of life and security for families. It is a pleasure to contribute to the development of Araraquara and to the realization of this dream." The delivery of the houses represents another step forward in expanding access to housing and promoting quality of life in Araraquara.
