Federal revenue collection reached R$264.4 billion in June this year, with real growth of 7.7% compared to the same month in 2025, already discounted for inflation. In the first half of the year, revenues totaled around R$1.587 trillion, a real increase of 6.6% compared to the first six months of last year.

According to the Federal Revenue, of the total collected in June, R$255.3 billion correspond to revenues administered by the Federal Revenue.

Among the factors that contributed to the result are the favorable behavior of the main economic indicators that affect revenue, such as economic activity, payroll and imports.

Accumulated revenue from January to June: around R$1.587 trillion;

Real growth in the semester: 6.6%;

IRPJ, CSLL and Social Security

Among the taxes that contributed most to the increase in revenue are the Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and the Social Contribution on Net Profit (CSLL).

The combined collection of these taxes totaled R$33.2 billion in June, a real increase of 20.4% compared to the same month last year.

Social security revenue reached R$64.48 billion in June, with real growth of 4.7% compared to the same period in 2025.

According to the Revenue, the result was favored by the real increase in the wage bill and the reduction in payroll taxes, with the effects of the gradual reinstatement of employer contributions.

Imports, financial investments and atypical revenues

Taxes related to foreign trade and financial income also contributed to the result.

Revenue linked to imports increased 22.87% compared to June last year, driven by the growth in imports.

Income Tax Withheld at Source (IRRF) on capital income recorded a real increase of 12.4%, reflecting the performance of financial investments.
