Public Ministry carries out operation in Itaocara MPRJ The Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ) carried out, this Tuesday (21), three search and seizure warrants during an operation investigating the alleged diversion of public resources destined for the Pestalozzi Association of Itaocara, in the Northwest of Rio de Janeiro. According to the city's Public Prosecutor's Office, the investigation indicates a loss of more than R$468,000 to public coffers. According to the Public Ministry, the association's president and the institution's coordinator were charged with crimes of embezzlement, concussion and money laundering. The warrants were executed at the institution's headquarters and at addresses linked to those being investigated, with support from the Security and Intelligence Coordination (CSI/MPRJ). ?
