According to the Military Police (PM), the man had left home around 5:30 am and was heading to work. The accident occurred around 5:40 am. The Civil Police carried out an examination and after completing the procedures, the body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Divinópolis. The Municipal Department of Traffic and Transport (Settrans) signaled and guided traffic while responding to the incident. The victim's motorcycle and personal belongings were released to family members. According to the Military Police, security cameras installed in commercial establishments close to the accident site were identified and the images can be analyzed to help clarify the dynamics and causes of the accident. However, no images were released.
