More than half a ton of skunk-type marijuana is seized from the false bottom of a box truck in Amazonas

The drug was hidden in a false compartment of a box truck semi-trailer transported by a ferry sailing along the Amazon River. According to the police, the seizure occurred in the Costa da Águia community after teams received intelligence information shared by the Special Police Operations Battalion (BOPE) of the Amazonas Military Police (PMAM) and the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime of Roraima (Ficco-RR). The information indicated that a large load of drugs was being transported by the vessel.
