Mobile Women's Health Unit in the West Zone of Manaus starts to serve in a new location; check addresses Photo: Disclosure The Mobile Women's Health Unit in the West zone changes address this Monday (27). Service will now be provided at Rua do Campo, nº 290, Santo Agostinho neighborhood, next to the Agnelo Bittencourt state school. Service is from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm, including at optional points. In the North zone, the service continues on Rua Lírios das Pedras, nº 216-200, Cidade de Deus neighborhood, close to the Coema supermarket. In the East zone, the mobile unit operates until July 31st on Avenida Autaz Mirim, Jorge Teixeira neighborhood, close to the Monte Sião field. ? Join the g1 AM channel on WhatsApp. In the South zone, service takes place on Rua Beta, nº 19, Mundo Novo community, Flores neighborhood, in front of the Professor Nilton Lins municipal school.

In rural areas, the service operates on BR-174, km 21, the Cooperative branch, close to the Pau-Rosa Rural Family Health Unit. The mobile units, managed by the Municipal Health Department (Semsa), have been expanding women's access to consultations and exams for three years. The main objective is to ensure early diagnosis and screening of breast and cervical cancer. Each unit has a full team to offer Primary Health Care services. These include medical and nursing consultations, initial prenatal care, mammography, preventive exams, ultrasounds, rapid pregnancy tests and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in addition to family planning and medication delivery.
