According to the incident report, the Military Police were called after receiving information that two people had been shot in a housing complex located on Rua dos Archangelos. The two victims were rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and taken to Madre Vannini Hospital.

He then shot himself in the head. During the incident, the medical team at Madre Vannini Hospital confirmed William's death. His body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Limeira (SP) for a necroscopic examination.
